KUALA TERENGGANU, June 27 (Bernama) -- Three hundred exponents are expected to take part in the five-day Terengganu silat championship at the Youth and Sports Complex here from Thursday.
Terengganu Silat Association (Pesilat) secretary Rani Mustaffa said the competitors were from 22 silat bodies in the state.
He said the championship would be used to pick the state representatives for the national silat championship in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 1-10.
